Tina Johnstone fundraising for the Jack K. Foundation and Barchester’s Charitable Foundation

Event Date:
Wednesday, April 12, 2017

Tina Johnstone, who works for Barchester Healthcare as an Operations Manager, has set up her own Foundation in memory of her son Jack, who very sadly died in December 2016 at the age of ten after a long battle with cystic fibrosis.

The Jack K. Foundation fundraises for children affected by illness, disability and sibling bereavement.

One of Tina’s first fundraising challenges will be to undertake a Born Survivor course on 9th September 2017 at Lowther Castle, Lake District.

The Born Survivor course requires competitors take on the natural terrain and 30+ epic military training inspired obstacle challenges. Participants will need to be prepared to run, climb, haul, leap, slide and crawl round a 10 km course.

Tina is aiming to raise £1,000 for the Jack K. Foundation by completing the course and has very generously offered to donate any monies raised over her £1,000 target to Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
