Jeanette Gill Special Awards winners 2022

We are delighted to be able to announce the winners of this year's Jeanette Gill Special Awards:

£15,000 GOLD award to Veterans Woodcraft CIC in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham - towards tools and machinery for their woodcraft workshops aiming to improve the mental health of veterans and other community members.

£10,000 SILVER award to ARK - Acts of Random Kindness in Merriott, Somerset - towards buying a shipping container to provide a versatile indoor space for activities all year round for people with learning disabilities. 

£5,000 BRONZE award to Beer Men's Shed in East Devon - towards building a new and larger workshop for this community group aiming to improve men's mental health.  

These awards were made possible thanks to a very generous legacy left by Jeanette June Gill who was a resident at Marriott House Care Home in Chichester.
