100 miles, no trouble @RideLondon-Essex 100

/ June 2024
Colin post race

Huge congratulations to our amazing cyclists Colin Marsh and Jon Douglas who conquered the RideLondon-Essex 100 on 26th May. More than 20,000 amateur cyclists took part in this very challenging charity bike ride that looped from central London to Essex.  We are very proud of our cyclists who successfully completed the 100 miles in impressive times, 6h27m and 6h17m respectively.

Colin Marsh, whose day job is Head of Maintenance at Barchester’s Henford House care home in Wiltshire, commented that the atmosphere was fantastic, the day went well, and the supporters on the route were great giving it a real feel good factor.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our inspiring cyclists for their tireless fundraising and to everyone who has donated. Collectively the cyclists have raised £1,145, which will make a very important difference to the people we help.

If you would like to make a post-event donation, the riders’ donation pages are still open:
