Jubilation after last Sunday’s RideLondon-Essex 100
Huge congratulations to our amazing Barchester cyclists Wayne Hughes, Raj Boodhoo and Suzi Gibson who conquered last Sunday’s RideLondon-Essex 100. About 22,500 amateur cyclists took part in this very challenging charity bike ride that looped from central London to Essex.

We recently awarded a grant to Macclesfield Seals Disabled Swimming Club. They reported that our grant was very timely, coming as it did after a prolonged period of closure due to the Covid pandemic.
East India's Over 50's Consortium
In January this year we awarded funding to London based East India Over 50's Consortium.
Lambeth Asian Centre
At the end of 2022 we awarded a funding contribution to the Lambeth Asian Centre. They are a not for profit charitable organisation aimed at promoting the welfare, wellbeing, interests, needs and rights of people in the Asian community living in London Borough of Lambeth.
Mobility scooter
Earlier this year we awarded funding to Kimberley from Hertfordshire for a mobility scooter.
Spectrum Community Arts
Towards the end of last year we awarded funding to Spectrum Community Arts Ltd. They provide top quality performing arts workshops for people with disabilities and additional needs across Central Beds and Milton Keynes.
Sign and Share Club
Just before Christmas last year, we awarded funding to Sign and Share Club based in Tenby. Our funding was used to cover the transport costs for four events.
One event was Christmas dinner at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby. This was attended by twenty two people.
Xmas presence
Earlier in 2022 we awarded funding to Xmas Presence. They are a small volunteer led group who plan a Christmas party every year, which is available to any older person in York and the surrounding areas.
