Shannon Cullen

Shannon began working for Barchester Healthcare as Head of Lifestyle and Enrichment in May 2021, and she was quickly promoted to her current role of Senior Head of Lifestyle & Enrichment in August 2021.

Well loved by the residents, families, the community and visiting professionals alike, Shannon is committed creating great moments and memories for the residents at Queens Manor, and embracing their individuality with tailor made activities, that positively impact physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Shannon has always had a strong interest in helping others. From volunteering in the local primary school, being a member of her towns Christmas campaign, to then going on to represent the school in the Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YTP).

During Shannon’s time at Queens Manor, she has supported and led local community initiatives and been at the forefront of a number of projects aimed at enhancing community engagement within the Edinburgh area, which benefit both the residents and staff at Queens Manor and the wider community.

Shannon is now looking forward to helping others in a larger geographical area and truly helping enrich the lives of those in need.
