On 5th July, a 10 strong team of care home workers and family members from Barchester Healthcare’s Lethen Park care home in Portlethen tackled a 10 mile hike to raise money for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.

Finding a new purpose

Funding was awarded to a women with a T12 complete spinal injury. Dawn needed funding towards the purchase of an electric assist off-road handcycle. Dawn's injury occurred in 1999 and having raised her family, she was looking for a new purpose.

Three Peaks in 24 hours

In May, an intrepid team of Barchester Healthcare staff will be tackling the three highest peaks in the UK within 24 hours to raise money for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
