Day excursion to the River Trent
Day excursion to the River Trent
Funding was awarded to Glinton Friendship Club to enable them to pay for the cost of coach hire to take 33 of their members on a day excursion to the River Trent (see photo).
Glinton Friendship Club aims to promote the welfare, recreation, interests and enjoyment for people over 60 who live in Glinton, near Peterborough and the surrounding villages.
It was a fabulous opportunity for their members to travel outside the local area, which for many is a rare occasion. On board the cruise they enjoyed a 2 course meal whilst viewing the sights and sounds along the river.
