Mind and Soul Choir based in South-East London was awarded funding in April this year, They were formed in 2006 and their objective is to promote mental wellbeing through singing and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental illness.

Grays Wharf Arts is a not-for-profit arts organisation with a programme of creative community engagement and exhibitions. They connect people to inspire creative practice, providing positive experiences for all through creativity.
Headspace Bolton CIC
Headspace Bolton CIC
We recently awarded a grant to Headspace Bolton, a Community Interest Company established by people with lived experience of mental illness and experienced mental health staff with experience of caring. They support people of all ages to come together and engage in a wide range of high quality performing arts led by artists.
The group was established due to a lack of opportunity to come together to learn about performance based arts in Bolton and are now producing a wide range of workshops including comedy, improvisation, spoken word and music.
Real Inspiration CIC

Back in November last year we awarded funding to Real Inspiration CIC. Real Inspiration is a social enterprise that offers training and craft therapy for adults and young people facing social barriers. Their makers, who all have social challenges, are supported to gain confidence, develop skills, reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, build peer-support networks and develop friendships.

In April this year we awarded funding to Time Out Group (North West). They are a charity based in Handforth, East Cheshire, who provide a range of supported activities for people living with Autism and Learning Disabilities.

In January this year we awarded funding to The Link Visiting Scheme. They are a Wokingham based charity whose mission is to confront loneliness and celebrate friendship. They aim to prevent, delay and reduce loneliness and social isolation, by promoting friendship and improving the health, wellbeing, and independence of older residents throughout the Wokingham Borough.

We recently awarded funding to Rammy Men CIC in Ramsbottom, Lancashire. The community interest company set up after a couple of local men took their own lives. They looked into why, and discovered a pattern of extremely poor mental health and suicide amongst recently retired men, coupled with an unwillingness or inability to get the help they needed from health services.

Macclesfield Seals Disabled Swimming Club
We recently awarded a grant to Macclesfield Seals Disabled Swimming Club. They reported that our grant was very timely, coming as it did after a prolonged period of closure due to the Covid pandemic. As such, their usual fundraising activities were severely curtailed and they were just beginning to build up their numbers to pre-covid levels. They wanted to purchase new equipment, some of which had badly deteriorated during the closure, to the point they could no longer use it.

In January this year we awarded funding to London based East India Over 50's Consortium. They are a small, passionate, voluntary led community organisation, which provides opportunities and activities to enrich the lives and wellbeing of adults living in and around Poplar and Tower Hamlets.
