New sports wheelchair for Lottie

We recently awarded funding to Charlotte (she likes to be known as Lottie) who suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Our funding contribution was used to invest in an ultra-lightweight made-to-measure RGK Elite rugby league/basketball wheelchair.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new trustee to our board; Shannon Cullen, who brings a wealth of experience from her current work in Barchester’s Queens Manor Care Home in Edinburgh, and her voluntary work in the community.

Back in May this year we awarded funding for the purchase of a one-year fishing membership at a local fishing pond for a young man called Scott.

Earlier this year we awarded a funding contribution to a lovely lady called Simmie. This was to enable her to enjoy a canal boat holiday.

Back in February we awarded a funding contribution to Brighton & Hove Speak Out. This funding has been used to support fortnightly drop-in sessions.

Henry suffers from Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, and in February this year we awarded him a funding contribution to help him purchase an electric wheelchair called a Quickie 700M.
